    Elite Guard Roll CallEwan Burnett is the third son of a scottish lord. More importantly, he is the world's greatest aviator, and the worst sailor in the Elite Guard.

    What little disguise skill he has can be summed up as follows:

    * Wearing aviator goggles
    * Not wearing aviator goggles

    He is prone to bouts of seasickness, and would really like to know why the Guard had to sail around Cape Horn to get to the American west coast when the TransCanadian Railway is really quite nice.

    Because the Canadians wouldn't let the Elite Guard bring offensive weapons into the country.

    Well, Jayne and I didn't have any trouble traveling with Eddie's Revenge (an experimental aircraft) and a supply of explosives...

    ...at least not trouble because of the weaponry.

    In general the people of North America seemed to almost expect that everyone would be armed to the teeth. I gather they haven't really mastered the art of landing aircraft and launching them again from rail cars. The idea seemed novel to them.

    No longer the worst sailor in the Elite Guard: Ben has that dubious honour.

    It is conceivably possible that that dubious honor is actually held by Li Ying Ko. I do not recall putting any points into sailing.

    Really? That is quite an achievement!

    Ewan gets seasick just looking at the Ocean...
    It was my understanding that he had sold down his seamanship, effectively generating bad stuff for himself whenever water was involved to in order to become the awesome pilot that he is.

    Ah. If he has negative abilities rather than no abilities, than he is indeed inferior to Li. :-)

    Yes, a certain party sold down his seamanship even further than Ewan, and managed to accidentally sink his own ship in his first appearance.

    My Ship!

    It was my ship! And I wish someone (Lorianne!) would warn me so he gets watched next time. In the mean time, I'm busy blaming this on Rachel cursing us.

    ...Yes, because Jayne is over that edge already. Magic, sure. Cards that can take people from one continent to another, seen it. Dragons? Of course. Why wouldn't curses work? She's going to start trying some herself...

    OOOOOOooooo... you know, if all those men had to do was pray and pray for a dragon to get one, oh boy, what does that mean about Jayne's cultists?

    Lord Ewan is a paragon of quick and daring aeroplane exploits. One might call him the "Wesley of the Air." I am not prone to exaggerate these things.
