I find it hard to believe that someone could impersonate Jayne so well as to fool the whole Guard, but that seems more likely than your claims of no Shark deaths...
Who are you and what have you done with the real Jayne?

| Sadly enough, I have to admit to actually, more or less accidentally (I was trying to find a passel of locals), recruiting the first of these Sharks for Jayne ... [ Reply to This ]

| Spider, what she's not telling you is that 10 of the 11 (and I believe that is the correct number, not 16) were recruited after the mission was over, during the cleanup. And the other one was (as he confesses) recruited by Jefferey.
The biggest difference this time out was Jayne didn't recruit anyone ahead of time... [ Reply to This ]

| 11 is the correct number: William, the 16-year old I recruited and the 10 women we freed that did not want to go back to their burned down fortress/town and joined the Sharks. [ Reply to This ]

| It's actually a bit of a cheat, isn't it: taking no Sharks on the mission, then recruit some afterwards to pad the survival statistics? [ Reply to This ]

Now, look here. Jayne doesn't plan what she's going to do (except for that time she created the cult.) - she just goes and does it. Now she sees a bunch of pissed off, very hurt women, and she sees part of herself. She's found healing, to an extent, in her work. Of course she'd offer them the same.
Has Jayne ever had female sharks before? I don't think she has. Wow, Mark and Ron are going to be totally overwhelmed by this change of events.
Okay, I got that number wrong. So there are 11 - plus whichever of the 8 from the previous mission make it home, plus Mark and Ron. That means at this moment in game there are 21 living sharks. Wow.[ Reply to This ]

I can see how Jayne could easily get confused about numbers of surviving Sharks...
After all she is used to being able to count the surviving Sharks on the fingers of one hand, having to use both hands is only a recent development for her, once she ran out of finger she obviously got confused
