     Daily email of new stories added

    I've added a feature to the Blaze of Glory web site which will generate a daily email summarising any new stories that have been added to the site that day.


    Unfortunately it doesn't include new comments or links added, which I would have liked, but at least it will give people an indication of when there is activity on the site.

    As this email only gets sent out once a day at most and even then only on days when a new story has been added I figure it won't strain anybodies mailbox too much. However if for some reason you want to stop the emails you can do so by logging into the site and selecting the "Personalize" link from the top of the page, then scroll down to the "Emailed Topics" section where you can alter your personal settings for this feature.

    If anybody has any problems with the site please let me know.

    Similarly if anybody has any suggestions for improvements I'd be happy to hear them, I'm not promising anything as my time on this project is limited and I'm also somewhat restricted by what GeekLog can do, but it is always worth making a suggestion as if you don't ask you don't get.

    I think we need to restrict comment posting to registered users, based on the spam comments we've gotten.

    GRRRRRRR!
    I've change the config so that only logged in users can use any of the optional features like commenting etc. Hopefully this will kill the comment spam... I'll clean things up as well, though that'll take a while as there is quite a lot of it.
